What if there was a site to help victims of cancer and/or those who have suffered a stroke as well? Hopefully, that is what this site will be focused on.
From the personal perspective, the most loving, giving, compassionate and wonderful person I have ever known has suffered both. Diagnosed in early 2007 with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (SLL) she underwent chemo-therapy (more about this later) which, unfortunately, left her immune suppressed, although we did not know it at the time. January of 2008, she suffered a stroke.
I did not realize how hard this is going to be to write this blog. As I look back and remember, it makes it harder to even talk about it.
